Mimi’s passion is to serve as a guide for others who, like her, want to THRIVE while living with scoliosis and spinal fusion. She’s been teaching this practice in classes and one-on-one for over 14 years. She is an Iyengar trained Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and a Co-Founding Faculty & Board member of Samamkaya Yoga Back Care & Scoliosis Collective in NYC. She is the first Yoga for Scoliosis Trainer with a spinal fusion (via Elise Browning Miller) and is certified in Adaptations to Yoga Practice for Scoliosis and Postural Dysfunctions via SchrothNYC and Kioko Therapy. In addition, Mimi holds a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology from The University of Pennsylvania and is mom to 2 daughters.
